Goat Oat Candy are a great treat!
4c. Long cookinh oatmeal raw 2c. melted goat butter/olive oil
1 egg
2c. sugar 1T. vanilla salt Have a greased 9 X 11 pan ready. Oven to 350. In a large bowl break the egg. Add the melted butter and the sugar and Vanilla. Beat thoroughly until all is well mixed. Pour in oats and mix until all is moistened.
Press into the pan to cover the bottom. Sprinkle salt over all, lightly. Bake for 30 minutes or until
brown. Break up when cool and eat!
This is SOOO Yummy!

Old Fashioned Goat Milk Fudge 2/3c. Chocolate chips
3c. Sugar 1/8 t. Salt 1t. Corn syrup 1½c. milk. After fudge is cooked add:
1T. Butter
1t. Vanilla
½c. Nuts Combine chocolate, corn syrup, sugar, salt, & add
milk. Place on medium heat, cook until boiling, stirring
constantly. Slip on candy thermometer, cook until mix reaches soft
ball stage (235ºF). Remove from heat; mix in butter, & vanilla. Let
stand till it cools to 110ºF, remove candy thermometer, beat in nuts
till mix thickens, & looses gloss. Heap into candy forms, eat &
enjoy! Also great with marshmallows, mint chocolate, and
more.
Goat Milk Butter 1qt. Cream Salt.
Set milk in a wide mouth container to let milk
rise to the surface. Skim cream off container of milk everyday till you
get enough cream. Use an ice cold whisk, and beat the cream till the
butter separates from milk, keeping the mix very cool, the butter will
start to collect onto the whisk. When you have beaten out all the milk,
take the white mass of butter, and squeeze it into a container under
clean running water, gradually squeezing out the remaining milk. When
the water runs clear, your butter is ready for the salt. Kneed in the
salt to the butter, work into your butter mold and refrigerate. If you
want your butter to be yellow, add food coloring, or alternative natural
food dye. (turmeric).

Old Fashioned Vinegar Cheese 1 Gal. Goat Milk
¼c. cider vinegar
Heat milk to 185ºF degrees, add vinegar, stir
constantly. When curds separate, drain into cheesecloth and hang until
dripping stops.
This is a very mild cheese.
For fun add herbs and stuff
while it is still soft, like jalapeños, lavender, oregano, sun
dried tomatoes, are all great additions.
Goat Milk Divinity 1 Gal. Goat Milk
2 2/3c. Sugar 2/3c. Light Corn Syrup
½c. milk. 2 Egg whites 1t. Vanilla
Mix
sugar, corn syrup, milk in; saucepan, Stir over low heat til sugar
dissolves. Let set till it heats to 260F. While heating, beat egg
whites in mixing bowl til forming stiff peaks, add vanilla. Remove
from heat, pour and beat into egg white mix. Beat until it holds it’s
shape and becomes slightly dull. Drop quickly(from a butter spoon) onto
wax paper, cut into 1”squares. Makes 48 pieces.
Grandma's Vanilla Ice Cream 2C. Goat Milk 1/2C. Sugar 1t. Vanilla, 1 egg
Mix well and put in your ice cream maker. After half and hour scoop out your ice cream and enjoy!
