Our small flock of dairy sheep , though small is size, pack loads of personality and high quality milk. Their milk although dense, is easily digestable by those in our family with lactose-intolorance. Although the cheesemaker prefers to use their milk for cheese, some members of the family love their dense, earthy milk so much they drink it any chance they get. Shown left is Friedya. Their wool is of medium grade, and a great length for spinning.

| Soft, fluffy plus they grow into great milkers. Ideal for the small homestead interested in providing milk for their family, but don't have the space for a cow.
These sheep, being a woolly breed need to be sheared as part of their regular care. This is not just for the comfort of the sheep, but for their health as well. Heat exhaustion and heat stress is real for animals too. |

| Laid back, gregarious, and lovable. Named after the Norse god of Thunder, he's actually quite of a barn baby. Physically he takes after his sire more so than his dam. With soft thel covering the lenght of his body, he is short legged but long bodied. Over the summer, Thor and the ladies handled our 105F heat waves with ease, sticking to the shade in the afternoon, and grazing during the cool parts of the day. No doubt a testiment to the variety of extreme climates this hardy flock can handle. |
